Wild Wax Melts is a business set up by three young students from Carisbrooke and Medina College. The Young Enterprise Company Programme is a national competition involving more than 600 schools and colleges across the UK, where student teams launch and develop real trading businesses.

Each team is supported by a business advisor. Wild Wax Melts are supported by Tracy Osborn, Director of Fundraising and Operations at Quarr Abbey, Ryde. Tracy said: “The Wild Wax Melts team are such an inspiration. Their hard work, commitment, passion, and ideas show what Island young people can achieve.”

“We are massive supporters of Mountbatten Hospice, we take part in Walk the Wight but felt we could do something more! Like most islanders we all have a connection to the hospice. They looked after and cared for close family members and the staff made us all feel so welcome when we went to visit the hospice and were so compassionate to us when we lost our loved ones. With the support of Lifeline and PC Consultants, this is our way of saying thank you for all the amazing work that they do for our island.”
