Mountbatten Isle of Wight's flagship fundraiser, Walk the Wight, is hoping to be crowned Best Island Event for the second year in a row, at the 2024 Red Funnel Awards.

The iconic event, which this year featured nearly 9,500 walkers, is up against nearly 20 other nominees in its category.

Having scooped gold at last year’s Red Funnel Awards, Walk the Wight is hoping to retain the 2023 title, following another record-breaking year.

Walk the Wight 2024 has so far raised an incredible £560,000, some £100,000 more than in 2023!
